At NORCAL the track is pretty high bite and smooth. Most guys are running 7/7/3, 7/7/4, or 5/7/3.

Yes.. All I have are 2s lipo's. My SCTE is run with the Castle MMP SCT setup with a SR300 receiver and a BEC. I had major issues with servo jitters untill I added the glitch buster.

I will be getting an Airtronics MT4X soon and I will post my results with that different Rx.

I have an MT4 with the MMP, 1415 2400kv, and Spektrum s6030.

Never had any of the problems you speak of.......

You're gonna love the MT4

Quick question....is there any difference in motor/esc for indoor racing vs. outdoor racing?
I will be buying a Novak 4.5t w/ esc undecided. Will I just need to change gearing for indoor/outdoor?

It is not so much indoor vs outdoor as it is big vs small. For a lot of guys, our indoor tracks are less than half the size of the outdoor 1/8 tracks we race on which is why there is a lot of banter regarding indoor vs outdoor running. Also, heat can be an issue outdoors due to weather. You just need to adjust your gearing as necessary.

A 4.5 should be enough for most circumstances though. We will really see how these cars and equipment hold up on the biggest tracks soon as summer approaches.

The SCTE has won on two of the biggest tracks I know of at two of the biggest nitro offroad race events (yes I know it is electric but they are runing SC at these nitro events.)

The SCTE is the current Nitro Challenge and Silver state champion. Truck works awesome on these large 8th scale tracks!

Default Rear bumper replacement received

Just received a new rear bumper replacement from Horizon, it is the same as the original stock, no strengthening updates, glad I did not pay for this.

I talked with Rick at T-bone last week and he is working on a rear bumper, so hopefully soon.

What is your current, or motor/esc favorite that you are using for the truck?
I have an xcelorin 6.5 combo in my xxx-sct and really like it. Would really like to use xcelorin in my ten-scte.

I have to say...for you to come on here and post that you got a FREE replacement for something you broke and then say you are glad you didnt pay for it because it is not upgraded...I take that personally, that hurts.

I have been running the stock rear bumper for over 6 months now with no issues as have MANY others. I am sorry you broke one, but c'mon...

He's probably 13 and wasn't raised to appreciate what he has, or what others do out of generosity.
