You rock James...By the way. What are the diffrence between thew sss and ss shock bodies and are they important to run them with the rayspeed conversion?I am gonna order up the cnversion and need to find out what else I may need. Also are ther 2 differnet types of swaybars for the front?

The SS shock bodies are longer than the SSS shock bodies. There is a picture of a comparison a few pages back on the thread. I don't think you need them to run the conversion. Just run the long shock ends with them. Yes, there are two different types of sway bars for the front. You can use the old Special sway bar on the car on the top. Not sure what the difference is, I have a set but never put it on. Masami uses the upper one instead of the lower one.

Yeah it mounts on the car the same way. I'll be out there on the 12th again. Been running the conversion since the first carpet race. Been messing with shock setups though. I've got the same setup as Matt except I'm running the RS #1 pistons.

No, It eliminates the center backbone piece. I'm in the process of making top decks right now that are solid to get rid of the flex that will help with the small flex issue for carpet.

I just saw Chris Tosolini run his SD @ SoCal and I was impressed in how well it seemed to go through the turns, it had no tire "screeching" at all. Can't wait to try it out. Now, where's my credit card.....

I'm back online. Do get the SD but don't waste money on any hop ups or conversions just yet. Something is up in the air but I'm not in the positon to speak. I'll let you know the next time I see you. It would make the SD bullet proof from what I was told.

Antenna mounting?
To all the RS kit owners: Where do you mount your antenna?
Obviously Mr.Adachi forgot to drill a hole in the upper deck...
Thanks,
ingo

utieh: I am a little bit afraid of drilling a hole in the upper deck. That will make it flex even more. Let see if there is hole in the lower deck thatīll fit.
MattH: Did you use the lower or the upper hole of the C-hub resp. the rear hub. And where did you place the shim( between steering block and c-hub)?
What springs are the most common using the RS on carpet. What springs do you recommend for asphalt?
Thanks,
ingo
