I can't tell you because this is SpeedPassion thread
but I believe SP WOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE for any problem that may arise.

Wich number of the new software is the best for a 17.5 motor? And for a 10.5?
Now with 17.5 i have the "230", is this ok?

Very interesting, when I connect my Speed Passion LCD box to my Mac (running XP), I get asked if I want to connect the Hobbywing USB device to my PC...

Hi all sorry for the previous post I just couldn't resist what with all the grief I was getting before. Have just been sent another threat to ban me for 'Trolling', again I have to ask what is 'trolling' ?
On a lighter note Just set my ones SP and the other one with the HW LCD card which is still available to buy on those sites mentioned above. Obviously SP won't warrant against using these cards but I just thought it was worth a mention to those who are willing to give it a try.

Benched the car and was thinking hmmm this is no different to before except it had lost that horrible rattling noise at 1/4 throttle that occurred on110. Then all of a sudden the turbo kicked in and frightened the life out of me OMFG what have you boys bred here it is a beast, it blew the tires off the rims and jeez it has some revs. Can't wait till Thursday to run it at the track to see how it drives but judging by the 'off ground' noise it's gonna be Uber quick.
Thank you for making this software !!!!!!

Will the current LCD Program Card be sufficient with the new software, or should I wait for the new one to be released?
Will the Hobbywing Unit work or does it have to be the Speedpassion one?
Does anyone know where you can buy the 12g wire in the coulours that come with the GT2.0? I need to rewire an ESC and want to have these colours to better differentiate the different phases of the motor and the battery.
I'm in AUS, but prepared to buy from OS.
Thanks.

I extracted the 2 new files from the zip file sent them to the desktop and copy and pasted them to the speedpassion folder.
They are in the speedpasion folder as it asked me if I want to replace the original files from version 1.32 I selected yes to replace those 2 files.
Just can't see any more programs when I load back to the ESC.
With the uninstall I just cleaned all the programs out of the computer including the new supercharger software and ver 1.32 to make sure I had a clean start before downloading them again.
I must be STUPID.
Please don't answer that last statement

(1) Go to your Speed Passion folder under your C:/Program Files, within the SP folders...what are the "DATES" of the above 2 files read? They must be some date after MARCH 8, 2010....the files Shawn fowarded were both dated March 8, depends on when you are you copying and overwriting, they must be March 8 or later...these 2 files must be replaced with the newer version in order for those who use the 230 and 231 software.
(2) If they are indeed March 8 or later...restart your computer and start the SP program and hook up the speedo...you should see the newer software.
If not...I am sorry, you should go buy Tekin instead. No Supercharger for you.....it is not WHAT you pick, it is WHO they pick (just kidding)...
Really, we has been doing this update since the 091231 version from King Golden...and I have never heard anyone of our team has troulbe uploading the new software.
BTW....I am a PC and I use Window XP cause I know it works.

#11 has no function at all right now. It is blank for future developments.

This package is an entirely different animal than anything we have had before. Keeping "same as before" gearing is a quick way to make sure you see no difference on the track, AND smoke a motor. Follow the "from scratch" guide I posted above and the little extra effort will be rewarded with cool running and greatly improved lap times.

Thats the problem that I asked about in the begining, I can't get the software to go into the speedpasion folder ( its in there but it just won't work) and work.
Any more suggestions on what to try.
I was trying to explain what I have done to correct the problem.
ie: uninstalled all speedpasion software ( more than once )
uninstalled the supercharger software (see above )
re-installed both several times fresh downloads for both
Still see no extra programs.

Open up the speed passion 1.32 folder on your PC and RENAME the two file as OLD!!!
Next open up the zip file and unzip, drag the 2 files into the Speed Passion 1.32 folder and shut the window. Make sure the SP software is not running at the time you change the files.
This was Windows 7 I had problems with BTW but this fixed it.
