Any suggestions? Freespooling it on the bench it sounds VERY fast, but it just doesnt have it on the track. (1) Go to your Speed Passion folder under your C:/Program Files, within the SP folders...what are the "DATES" of the above 2 files read? They must be some date after MARCH 8, 2010....the files Shawn fowarded were both dated March 8, depends on when you are you copying and overwriting, they must be March 8 or later...these 2 files must be replaced with the newer version in order for those who use the 230 and 231 software.

(2) If they are indeed March 8 or later...restart your computer and start the SP program and hook up the speedo...you should see the newer software.

If not...I am sorry, you should go buy Tekin instead. No Supercharger for you.....it is not WHAT you pick, it is WHO they pick (just kidding)...

Really, we has been doing this update since the 091231 version from King Golden...and I have never heard anyone of our team has troulbe uploading the new software.

BTW....I am a PC and I use Window XP cause I know it works.

Yes vista can be a problem apparantly you need to copy them in "administrator" mode to get it to work, dont ask me how to do it just heard it needs to be done to get it to work on vista

OK, I didn't like it at first but keep experimenting, it's fast. Maxxed out the motor timing and geared to 6.6 and its fast! Running 17.5 rubber tire med/high bite carpet 75ft straight.

Still needs alittle more punch but overall has been .2 better on the lap times then the best I could get with the 107. Thanks SP! If anybody has any other suggestions please post.

Hmm..you are really getting power with Timing at 26 and full boost? My tests showed that timing and boost both on the highest settings lost a lot of power testing on a 17.5 all around....interesting.

Ya know, im still testing..im actually surprised this SW was released to be honest. What i have for mine so far.
4/9
9/4
12/7
13/5
14/2
15/2

This is with a 96/40x2.16=5.1(Cyclone TC).

I am still not happy with the 1st 10-15' of acceleration, but tonight, if the track is still open, im gonna try 13/2 or 1.
This Software, im finding that it tends to work best when you don't gun it. Let the software do it's thing. If you go full throttle off the bat, it might lag a bit.

Im gonan try
4/9
9/3
12/7
13/2
15/2
15/1

tonight and see if i can get another .5 secs off my time. On Monday i got 11.0. Wednesday i got 10.7. Last week my fastest was 12.4 so i know im going in the right direction. Now, hopefully someone can see something i don't so i can get this SW optimized.

LMK how yours turns up..i'd love to compare notes.

I know there is alot more to learn with this s/w and these settings may be way off from where SP wants us to be, but it did allow me to qualify 2nd and finish 2nd on the same lap as our local fast guy and I have never been able to finish on the same lap as him (unless he broke). So for the first day with it I am happy, looking foward to learning more and getting it faster more efficient.

Charlie B., what motor are you running and where is the motor timing set? I have a ballistic and it was a snail till I increased the motor timing, but was the opposite with the 107, more timing was just more heat and not speed.

In Vista/Windows 7 copy the files to the speedpassion folder as described.

First time you run the program right click the SpeedPassion program and choose "Run as administrator". Then the database would rebuild.
