The short wheel base mod I did is amazing. Well worth doing for foams.
Cool. I know a racing buddy of mine is using that on the 705 and is almost consistantly getting into the top mains in most races. Well, that goes to show a lot that it's not the car... It's the driver most of the time.

Uncle Sow, firstly you need the RING. Second, you need a pair of specs or microscope. (j/k)

Don't you just hate that - spend loads of money on getting all the right kit and then someone goes and bests you with the old stuff

If you're referring to the rear ball differential (step 2.0), there will be some gap between the plates where the balls are held. Make sure you read Julius Kolff's article on mytsn on how to builkd the rear diff properly.

Any Novarossi based motor should be good. NS or NSR12S3 (or S5). You could also go with Novarossi's long stroke version RR12L3 (or L5) if your track is shorter and tighter.

JP FX engines and NovaMax engines are very fast but they are also expensive.

I would recommend that you set the car as is like the manual tells you. Use the stock setup first. The only thing I would do is get the yellow Centax clutch shoes as it will save you the hassle of tuning the clutch right. Then you should be set. Secondly, use Mugen Super grease (super sticky) on the rear diff balls. That would also do good as it will keep the rear diff from getting gritty.

It's good to know how the car handles stock (which is great BTW) and then make changes as and when necessary.
