Tried dual-gear diffs on carpet a while back Adam, it wanted to keep steering coming out of the corner, but other than that, it felt ok.. was slower than a spool though.

Just a question on measuring droop. On the front I measure under the arms under the C Hub pin. But not nsure about the correct place to measure droop on the rear. How does everyong measure rear droop at what location? Thanks George

The car is just faster with gear diff compared to ball diff, You can adjust it more evenly due to different thickness of oil, and You dont have to spend time on rebuilding diffs. I have tested several times with spool or geardiff in front, and if You use thick oil, its always faster and easier to drive with geardiff. With uPro You have to use some very thick grease something like 700000 - 1000000cst, but with Yokomo, Spec-r or similar big diffs, use 300000 as the internal gearration in the diff is different.
I hope this helped.

U pro gear diff
I just bought ProTon U Pro gear diff. Going to run it in the rear, on medium traction asphalt. Should I do anything to it before putting it in or should I put it in and just run it as it is? Would be greatfull for any help
