My D413 experiment has come to a close . It was a good car for me , it increased my average finishing spot over the course of the night series , and that was good. But I'm moving on . Its the red car on E bay if anyone is looking for one. This thread is very active too btw , and was very helpful . I wish more of the threads here were like this one .

I was getting close to spending a lot of money on the d413 and didn't think that would be smart . So much bling and aftermarket for the car , my visa was always in jeopardy. It has been a really good car for me. I was able to learn a lot with this car because it never broke. I was the first at my track with one , now there are 5 I think .
Does anyone know what size screws are used with the Exotek D413 Machined Spur Gear & Mounting Plate Set? I lost one and stripped another one out, and am having a hard getting a response from Exotek on this question. Thanks!

Hello everyone. I just picked up one of these tonight. Got talked into it. I really didn't want to look through the whole thread so I was hoping someone could sum it up for me. I've heard the stock body is pretty bad. Can anyone recommend a good one? Also are there any must have upgrades? And last what is a good 13.5 motor to run? Thanks for your time.

Here's a body: http://www.prolineracing.com/bodies/...ear-body-d413/
The stock one is a pain. It's a 4-piece deal that you have to screw 3 of the pieces together with 0.050" screws and nuts.

Has anyone thought of an alternate method of connecting the stock sway bar to the front arms? I lost one of the sway bar ball cups and would like to replace them with something different.

Sounds like the D8 hardware works. Check out bogiii's post one page back. Pics and everything. I'm tempted to try this with my son's car.

Really liking this buggy on stock chassis. Would like to go the stretch route and wondering if I should get aluminum or carbon fiber stretch chassis? Running indoor, medium-high bite depending on day. Using Ty's reedy setup and running mod 5.5T motor.

Hi, if anyone is searching a cheap +6mm chassis I found one, I'm using it and loving it

I've cracked the steering crank CF part on my car twice now. It's cracking at the inner hole. I use the outer hole and started thinking if I used inner hole problem would be solved. What hole do you guys use and would inner hole cause faster throw? I'm just gonna make two new ones and have just one hole. I know if I stop clipping pipes and outside wall would help too.

What benefits would you get from a longer chassis?
It might be more stable, however wouldn't you loose the nimbleness of the buggy as well?
I would thought for small indoor tracks, the stock chassis would be optimal!

It seems the cheapest way to get the proper diff gasket for the D413 is to buy the spur gear
