got a question that is hard for me to explain but easy to answer I hope
Ok I just got my used Mission in the mail and I was looking it over and noticed that when I turn the wheels all the way to the left that it cannot do this because the servo saver hits the turnbuckle.....I know this is vague but I don't know how else to say it...
the peice of the servo saver that hooks up to the servo, when turning all the way to the left it hits the turnbuckle that you can change the amount of the toe-in..
I cannot figure out how to get it to not hit..and unfortuantly I don't have a mission to look at as the only other one in my town is sold??

RacerB: I'm guessing that the arm is on backwards. It sounds like the arm goes towards the center of the car, it should point towards the left side of the car, away from the center. When the car turns left, the arm that connects to the servo sould be next to or over the servo, not hitting tne center link. I hope I have this right. If not, just give more info...

nope it looks fairly good
it just the car turns about 85% all the way but ....oncethe ub gets close to the stopper that is where the arm from the servo saver hits the turnbuckle
I did not put it together but I am not experianced enough yet just to see the right way it is suppose to be??????????????

Blain,
First by the looks of thing the upper arm where the turnbuckle threads into is bent back quite a bit. Check the upper arm for fractures, or the camber rod for straightness. Second the servo saver should be square with the chassis, it should be pointing toward the left side wheel(looking down at the chassis), then mount you servo horn on the servo so the horn in perpendicular to the chassis, then adjust the tie rod for the servo saver so it fits between both parts. Then check you toe in from there. But make sure the assembly of the suspesion is intact and correct before anything else. Something bent or broken can cause havok for anyone. Good luck.

we have a winner.........VR6...you got it.....I did not notice(slightly inexperianced eye) there is a crack in the upper arm and when I put it back that gives just enough room!!!!!!!! ....

looks to be the turn buckle is bent or the up suspension arm is warped or the threading inside of it warped. i would replace that upper suspension arm and get a new turn buckle if not i would replace that whole peace and rebuild the car to make shure nothing else is broken.

ok so I figured that out !!!!!!!!
But another question I got for ya all.... how the heck do you get everything to fit without glitching....I had heard the you can stick the receiver on the top deck close to the spur but when I did that the car liked to take the drivers seat into the neighbors driveway ....that ok it sounds worse than it really was...anyways anybody have any pics they can send me...or post whatever is easier...

I sat my reciever next to the front shock tower on top deck because of the synthesized thing. It makes it nice to have more room for your ESC down on the bottom deck.

I run a Sanwa/Airtronic M8 on 27 FM with a 211 reciever. I have my reciver on the lower deck, between the servo and the motor, as inboard as possible, with the ESC on the outside, and I almost never get glitching. Maybe twice in 18 months. Most other Missions that I've seen are the same. Hope that helps you.
