Please don't go there. The amount of crap I'd get at our local races if they did that.

guys, i think we can just drill out the camber link mounts, and use the xray/tamiya style female threaded pivot balls. put a button head in from the top, and tighten it into the ball, and we're set. well, that is what I have planned for mine, anyway. If we use the losi style balls, we can probably still use the schumacher ball cups. they are both the common 4.3mm size.
6061 is good general purpose aluminum. 7075 is quite a bit stronger (they are all about the same weight) but it is like 3x the price. you have to look at machinability and how well it will anodize as well. all things considered, schumacher made the right choice here.

Just got an early, unexpected, but VERY good email from Speedtech R/C.
Lets just say I feel...cough...cough........like I might have to leave work early tomorrow. Like right around the time my wife calls to say a brown truck just pulled up!

1. The website seems to be lagging behind stock levels a little, is it better to just have the LHS give you guys a call to see whats in stock?
2. How well does the battery strap work with the 'brick' style LiPo packs? The example shown in the manual seems like it wouldn't hold the pack in unless you tape the pack either to the strap or the chassis. In which case, why use the strap at all. Is it best to just go with the tape in your planning on using the 'brick' style?
