Wow! I just added the Express Motor Sports version of the Killshot motor in my shopping cart on Amain Hobbies and I think this may have the endbell problem also:

Just wondering if this part would work?

Well I've had my MI5 for about two weeks now, still haven't made it to the track. The car went together super easy, I sanded and glued the edges of the chassis which probably took longer than the whole build. Now i just need to finish up the electronics and it will be ready to test.

I tried the mid-motor setup on our low grip carpet and liked it quite a bit. It seemed to take the edge off on high speed steering and livened up the car in the tight sections. I then changed springs to Yokomo Blue front and Pink rear and while it felt more lively it lost a bit of grip. It certainly was consistent though with a fast lap of 12.8 and 20 lap average of 13.0. I'll head back to the track tomorrow and try the softer spring set again as well as some other things. Tires have always been Jaco Blues.

uhm... what the heck are you talking about? Fantom doesn't get their motors from Trinity, they get them right from the manufacturer in China, just like Trinity. Trinity doesn't even warranty the motors... they are sold OEM from the manufacturing line. Anyway, the new trinity motor plate doesn't fit... and I tried the oven trick tonight, and no-go.. didn't help.

On a side note... what do you think of the Revention Pro speedo?
