Wow.... This new firmware will set new rc racing boundaries. Wow just wow.

I'm heading to the track this afternoon to do some testing. Will post what I come up with.

The X-12 is going to require alot less timing then a duo. I'd start with your normal gearing for your X-12 and run about 20 boost and 10 turbo with a 3 delay. Maybe have the rpm range set up from 1000 rpm's to 6000 rpm's. Be sure to check your temps often.

I haven't played with my X-12 yet. Maybe this weekend if I get a chance.

Anyone tried this on a Redline 13.5 12th scale yet.
What might be a good starting point for a high speed layout ?

Hi Guys 3rd times a charm hopefully I asked this question a few pages back and was hoping to get some feedback from Randy or someone else on here anyone?

What settings for my esc and motor+ FDR would you recommend for this application. Running in 13.5 superstock class 310 metre long track using rubber tyres, and with the fastest time in this class at the moment being a 21sec lap but with the new software I dont see that lasting long.
The straight is 60metres long btw.

Thanks in advance Cheers Dave

Danny,

Thanks, that would be great. I will be able to test on Saturday and that would give some of us small track guys a good starting point.

Are you running 1/12th?

I'm running 1/12 BMI with Redline 17.5. Our track is 24x50 with a sweeper entering the straight. My best combination of low-end performance, speed and lap time with the V2.00 are listed below.

Roll-Out 81.2mm with gear at 47/80 - tire 44mm
Motor Timing 0*
Boost 23*
Turbo 10*
Delay 0.3 sec

Thanks,

Aaron

Do you need the rpm calculations or is it optional when using V203?

You're working today? Looks like I need to get a netbook for the track.

Can someone (Randy?) give me a short explanation of what I should be doing with this new software? Feel like a bit of a fool, as everyone else seems to know, but I don't!

I'm running a Redline 10.5 on 1S LiPo in 12th. Currently set on zero motor timing, a high-ish ratio, 20 boost and 10 turbo on 0.7 sec. What settings do I need to sort out with this version, and how should I use the rpm range?

All help welcome! Thanks in advance.

PS - can we sort out a name for it?!!! Since it is Vegas2 on the link, and 4.0 on the file, could we use Vegas 2 as a suitable moniker? Vegas2, that sounds good...
