James35 - the question is when.... If two years or more before we see it as a norm, across the board, that is my guess. I know we currently are seeing pockets in the US that are growing and others still watching... I also agree with you, get brushless down to a stock level so the new people can start with something that fun and reasonable.

That's great, now if others would allow Brushless in all mod classes, this would be a great start... I may have to buy another car for mod

if you dont have a temp gun do the finger test its rough but it works

hold the can to see how long you can hold it if you can get more then 3 seconds its not over hot anything under that is bad

you maybe using a 22 tooth pinion but whats the spur if you use a small spur and a small pinion your rollout will be high

most tracks ive raced on I use between 26 and 32 rollout for roar motors

you will want to use the gearchart rollout calc to find what works for you

Anyone have a final drive for the co27 at SoCal? They told me about 6.3 to 6.5 but it was slow. I did not have my temp gun though so i really could not tell you how hot it was. i really have not run stock there before so i dont have anything to compare to gearing wise. I know i need to cut it and i have some Trinity xxx brushes i was going to put in. I really have no experience tuning stock motors so please let me know if i am off base.
