I have been running RC1 carbon wheels on my AXIS 2.. and they are nice. The prolines always seemed to be made of rubber to me. So I started running the ofna Lexan wheels. They are light and stiff, but pretty fragile. Seems like the HB wheels are a nice comprimise of price and performance.

The only problem that I have seen running the Proline rims is that if you need to run a stiff insert, you actualy flex the rim before the insert gives. I like the Yoke rims 312 Soft ones and 512 the Hard ones. You can use the rims as a tuning aid aswell, I know that we do on carpet tracks.

I belive that you can get the Echo rims in soft and hard if I'm not mistaken. Echo rims are slightly taller then standard rims but not as tall as an inch up style rim.

Thats what I am wondering AERacer. I race outdoors asphalt and it is getting a lot warmer now. I have been using flexible Proline rims so I figure that going to stiffer rims is good. Less tire roll should mean faster cornering and the warm track provides extra adhesion which the lack of tire roll loses

Those pics are pretty much the final version of the Mission minus the production front bumper. They put an A2 bumper on it for the pics. The production bumper will be the one shown in the CAD drawings.
