Have the same braking problem as discussed here, i have also small delay before full braking power comes i also run LRP X12 motor (but 17.5T), using LRP transmitter.
Didnīt tried reflashing yet..

Just went to the track over lunch. With a duo 2 17.5 I get plenty of brakes.

Here is what I ran yesterday:
1/12
RS pro
17.5 Trinity(might be my problem)
80 spur
58 Pinion
New BSR tires
208 software
Boost 30
Turbo 4

This is my first time running 17.5 mainly run 13.5. I was getting beat pretty bad at the fast parts of the track. I am wondering where I am going wrong. The guys that were faster than me we also running RS's. I know I am missing something. The power difference is pretty obvious. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

It took a year and half, but one of the wire leads that go into the RX finally broke yesterday after a year and a half of tugging on the wires to program the ESC. I know I shouldn't be doing that and I have no one to blame but my self. I even have a short extension, but I don't really like using it.

If it comes down to it, I'll use the extension. I should probably buy a few more for my other tekins.

But I'm hoping, just maybe, that someone makes a small enough gauge wire to with stand this kind of abuse. That way I could yank on the wires to my liking. Anyone know of such a wire?

(just happened to be my biggest race ever too. #1 spot in the roar nats sportsman B main leading the race till my car turned off)

Was I over geared? also what would you gear a small track maybe I will try both setting. The track to me is small but everyone says its about a mid size. Thanks for all your help.

you can try the 40 for a small and try a 45 on the med,you may be closer to 50 but its better to start low and go up

Is timing boost a linear number? For instance, is you go from 20 to 25, is it the same amount of timing being added as going from 40 to 45? Or is it exponential?
