I have misc things like belts, diffs, etc from my 04. Just dont want to have to turn around and order something else from breakage right away. Would at least like a few weeks on it lol. The layout we are running now is pretty wide open so the potential of hitting pipes arent bothering me too bad.
Maybe front and rear shock towers. Although they have been revised in the new kits around the roll center mounts. Also extra spacers for track and toe adjustments.

With the run of kits that are coming off the line now, have the problems been fixed? I am talking about the chassis tweak, and the rear toe in. I don't want to buy a car and then have to buy a bunch of stuff like top decks and new chassis plates to fix the problems with my "new" car. I haven't bought one yet, ut am thinking about one for next carpet season.

He's talking about the steering bushings...those little bushings that fit inside the c-hub above and below the steering block.

This is probably the most frequently searched-for piece on the track after breaking (for any car manufacturer, really) .

I lose those once in awhile when the C-Hub goes bye-bye. Good thing I got a couple spares.

Ok, I am about finished with the list lol.

I can use my spool from the 04 right? And I read about a guy using the oneway too just flipped the gear to the other side of the axle and used washers to space it out. I will pick up a multi-diff eventually but will probably be next month when I get my summer paychecks. Trying to keep the initial cost down and then sell the other cars to buy more spares with once I run it a few times and check the durability lol.

so far:
Steering blocks
c-hubs and inserts (I had not even thought about these even though I did lose 1 once in the 04)
I still have about 12 blades from the 04 I am assuming they fit the new axles

So far everywhere I looked has been sold out of the shim kits but will keep looking for them

You should be able to, like you said it should be just like the one way installation. Just flip the gear, and shim it .5mm. I'm using a T1 one way in my car. If you have any 0.75mm shims those would probably be ideal, .5mm is just a touch off from being perfect but it works just fine.

The blades are the same.

It is a spool!!!! you can just flip the whole thing BUT the FK04 pulley has only 32 teeth the FK05/T2 pulley has 34. Make sure that you change your pulley to a 34 teeth one.

I originally bought it when I had a Raycer and used the 34 pulley on it, then when I got the FK I just bought an extra pulley so its all good

Try searching for Take Off shim kits, they're very nice If you can't find the Xray brand.

I use the Tamiya shim kit. They are readily available, cheaper, and you get twice as many shims.
