It's rapidly approaching, approximately 45 days before practice begins for the ROAR 2006 'Open' Fuel Nationals.

The Tri-State RC Auto Racers (TSRCAR) is hosting our annual "Tri-State 200" September 2nd and 3rd, and look forward to providing an opportunity for a Pre-Nats warm-up.

If you're looking to break-in that new motor, or simply wanting to fine-tune your set-up (I'd recommend it, traction is way up!)... We look forward to seeing you in the next two weeks!

Also, as a reminder, "late fees" begin on September 1st, so don't plan to bring your entry to the Tri-State Race, unless you plan to bring another $20!

I managed to convince the folks at Virtual RC to run this even simultaneously. For those who can't make it to Cinci this year (such as myself) you can race the Virtual USA Nationals 1:8 on VRC:

Now that's cool! I've never tried the VRC.. I'd like to, how does it work?

Would it be possible to run during the day (home track), come home in the evening and race VRC? I'd like to see what type of laps I can turn "live" and on the web

Darin,

Certainly thats possible for you, including any racers who brought PC's laptops, with acess to an internet connection, or have access to a PC with VRC and the track installed on it. Even people could borrow other's PC's as long as they are a registered user on VRC with a racing licence.

I'd recommend ordering the adapter, but first you can install and play the game for free with the keyboard. Once you are in the system, you set your local timezone, and the website for the game tells you what timeframes each round during the event takes place. Generally you have 24-48 hours to get your run in for each round of competition.

The cinci track in the game is virtually identical and the laptimes people are getting are nearly similar. They even adjust the track grip for each round of competition.
