Were you using a 22t on the 2 speed? I can understand your 6% that way!
My 720 came with the following configuration:
front dff: 35t
center shaft middle: 19t
side puley (side belts): both with 22t
main axe center pulley: 24t
rear diff: 47t

Since both side pulleys are equal, we can jsut compare the relation between the front and the rear belts. Therefore, the front relation is 19/35 = 0.542 (each rotation on the main axe is 0.542 rotation on the front wheel) The rear relation is 24/47 = 0.510. Therefore, the difference is 6% (the front wheels are 6% faster than the rear) Ins't it correct?
If the car should came with a standard 21t, this is the thrird main fault on my kit. it's very sad, serpent always delivered top quality products.

I don't have my owners manuel right in front of me.... Check yours and see what it says and what should be there... Make sure you're using the right pulleys... I would even count yours again to make sure you have the correct number on the front side and rear side... .02

According to manual, front side pulley is 22T and rear side pulley is 21T...

You are correct, the rear side pulley is 21, they did this to match the over drive of the 710. It is not exact, but very close and was done to not make confusion for the people switching from the 710 to 720.

I've just check my manual. You are correct, it should be 21t. However, my kit came with 22T.

it is worth counting the teeth itself because the plastic holder (before c clip) always say 22t and the factory kind of slice the wording off. Maybe in your case they did forget to slice off the wording but in fact the tooth is 21t?

Ok ,, since the topic is at hand. Has anyone tried the 22 tooth rear side pulley. if so ,, how did it affect the car, and did it change your rear tire wear?

I've been wanting to try it.

But the standard front pulley is 22t. 22t on the back will increase the overdrive to 6%.

Yes the ovedrive ratio will be 6% but you should consider the difference between front and rear tyres. That's why I say you should use 3mm split. With 3mm split the overdrive is 1%.

Front fits like normal.
For the rear, you need to get a new pulley, change that and it should fit!

Attached is what the reference guide calls for to have ball diffs. The stock gear diffs are 35T front and 47T rear. The ball diffs of the 710 are 35t front and 45T rear.
Cyclops is right, just change the rear to a 47T (part#808376) and it should be fine.
