In all of those environments I have used the Sorex 36R with varying inserts based on temp. Using the YokF all the way down to HPI red based on track temp. High to low.
Some layouts - I have increased the rear spring rate to allow the car liven the up. If the car develops a push, I usually try shortening the rear camber.
Rons setup is a really good place to start. For carpet, your guess is as good as mine. I would start with Grays setup.

Are you using the underdrive pulley setup? The track temp is around 74-80. There isnt any shops carrying any sorex tires around here so when I order some what compound would you suggest with that kind of track temp? Do you have any ideas why on higher bite conditions people would go to a softer insert like foam inserts? Wouldnt that produce more roll and tire scrub?

There is no magic is this car. It really does work.
The car really works well with softer setups on concrete & asphalt.

The tires work really well from 80degrees and up. Remember that is track temp. As for colder conditions you may want to try softer inserts. The tires will hook up. You can contact [email protected] for the tires. www.speedtechrc.com
Go to a harder insert as temp increases. YokF is about the top for me. I would never go as low as foam inserts.

Would sorex 32's work as well since the temp is lower? Both tracks we race at are around 84' x 48' in size. Would a one way be useable on this small of a track? I know, too many questions. Just want to get the car setup better than the TC3's I'm racing against.

I would stick to the 36r. It really does work well even indoor high bite asphalt. The temps there are 70-80.
use 26-27 for a p2k, rons setup and you should have a good car. good luck.

One of the tracks we race at is enidrcracing.com. The other does not have a web site. I have only been able to run a 24 on my p2k because the car is so slow coming out of the corners. I will try Rons setup this weekend without the underdrive. Hopefully it will free the car up but not pin. Should be able to gear up! Cool!! Thanks for the help.Check out the track if you get time.

I tested (practiced) last night using 23T / 88 with a p2k. Great zip out of the turns and good straight speed. I just can't seem to run any higher than that. The motor get too hot. Do p2k typically run hot? 23 T = 150F; 26T = 200F (Yikes!!!)

Who is testing low roll ceter?
M Dawson - Do you know if they are lowering the front & rear pivot blocks or is it just the rear?
Is it .180 lower all around or do you lower the front a different amount?

Hey Doug Gant,if you want I have Glen Bean's setup for both Enid and OKC. It works real good but needs sway-bars for Comp RC.
Saturday I'm thinking of trying the over drive pulley at comp and see what that does. How did Ron's setup work on Comp anyways?

Glen gave me his setup when he was at Enid but I didnt have the correct tires. 
Does he use the same setup for Comp R/C? What tires are you using? Where you at Comp last weekend? Pick up a swaybar set for the XX and buy some piano wire to bend to get the correct angles. Works great and fits perfect. I have not tried Rons setup completely, didnt have all the parts to. Do now though! I ran Paul L's carpet setup. Not reactive enough, very lazy.
