I went to the 2degree casters to get a little better turn-in. I also want to try a sway but the hobby shop hasn't gotten them in yet.

BTW, the car is working very well (always top 2 or 3) just looking for that little extra.

Anything else to try? What about low roll center? I have the blocks, just haven't wanted to do the bumper modification yet.

Just curious on what I observed yesterday. I tapped 4-40 holes on the suspension arms with a fingertap yesterday. Comparing with the holes that I tapped with the kit provided tapping screw, the one that was tapped with the finger tap was significantly looser when I screwed in a 4-40 screw. Is this normal? Will I strip the screw threads? I am asking this because this this is the first time that I tap plastic due to the hard losi plastics.

rodney, try going to the f-2 (2 deg of kick) and no caster.....that should eliminate your problem....also, put the low roll center blocks in....it helps....also, the weekend of the 26-27 th there is a big carpet race inn milw.....kinwald, hodge, and lemieux will be there..i will get the setup and post it.....

Can anyone please post a template for the front bumper brace? I am trying to make one after a broken arm and not being able to buy it. Thanks a lot.

Hey Kenneth,

all you need is the bumper. Just place the bumper and trace the outline and the two holes that holds the body posts. Then from there outline the bumper brace and make sure you make allocations for the screws that is needed to mount the bumper brace to the front diff cover. That is it.

For the bumper I have found that it is just eaiser to buy the Matt Francis Bumper Brace. I made one out of Fiberglass, Kydex and Lexan and all have failed. I bought the MF one and it has held up better then I had expected. Also I should mention that I am not hitting a lot of stuff now . Also a very good buy is the BRP front Bumper that goes on under the Los Bumper. It is a lot wider and protects the wheels better. Since going to that I have not broken any spindles or carriers.

Just seen your reply re Bumpers/braces etc. I keep breaking spindle carriers and castor blocks and the BRP bumper sounds a good idea. Do you know if it is imported to the UK? Alternatively maybe you could give me details of US shops so I can try and track one down
