Heres a quick dumb question....(Im new to 1/8 scale...give me a break!)
Will any 17mm wheel fit this buggy? I'm looking for a set of wheels for mine but none of the aftermarket wheels say anything about compatibility. Is "1/8 scale buggy wheel" exactly what it sounds like?

Yes, 17mm is pretty much standard for 1/8.

Hey guys, I need some help in the battery department. I have a RX8 1900Kv combo coming and I'd like to run a 5s battery. Run time goal is to get at least 15 minutes on an 1/8th track. 20 minutes would be even better as they sometimes do 15 minute mains. How many mah and what discharge rate would you recommend?

If you do decide to go the 5S route, you will need a smaller kv motor, no more than 1700kv.

Running a 1900kv on 5S, for racing, is a bad idea. Way way too much power. It will be uncontrollable. I can make a 15 min main easy with a 1900kv with a 5400 4S lipo. I did 20 a minute main with a 5600 lipo. If you drive smooth, gear properly and have a decent lipo you can run for a long time on 4S.

5S is a good way to go for lower temps and longer run times, but only if you run the right motor.
