hi mate, i cant remember if i did open it.

if i did its just the four or so phillips screws on the outside, then you can half open it and you can see the buttons. or just spray from the outside.

remember less is more. spray little at a time.

No, it has a 1amp max charging rate and only a 4.1v/cell cutoff voltage in Lithium mode.
For the Peak/Orion 3200, you should use a charger with at lease a 3A charging rate and 4.2V/cell cutoff.

By cutoff, I mean the highest voltage that the charger will allow the battery to achieve before reducing the charging rate to maintain that voltage.

Here is what I use, Charge Capacity 0000mha (the reason behind this is if you enter 4200 or whatever your batteries are they may and often do peak higher than that, with the value set at 0 they will naturaly peak, this also helps with getting rid of faulse peaks), I charge at 6 amps but it depends on how much time you have, I set the Delta Peak at 14 the book recomends 10 I go up a little to stop faulse peaks, Delay timer is up to you. Also I set the long lockout at 15min. Hope this helps, also here is a link to nexus racings

Thanks for that!

question though, why do you set the delta peak so high? doesnt it hurt the cells? I was told to set it at 03 (hot day) or 05 (cooler day) for the 4200's. any higher and they will be damaged. can you comment on this?

The cell master delta peak is for the pack. Most other chargers are per cell.

03 for most chargers is actually 18mv!

tx li-po charging question...

i'm currently using my ctx to charge my TX lipo battery... its a VXR 800mah 3 cell pack for M8/Stylus...

current CTX setting is set at 3-cell, charge current .8A... can i bump the charge current to 1.0A without damaging the pack? problem with the .8A current is that it just freakingly takes too long to charge my pack...

also, i've recently encountered temp cutoff problems when charging the TX pack... problem is i don't use the temp probe to charge lipo... seems to be a problem not only with my CTX (i have 2)... same problem comes up even when i try my friend's CTX.

Thanks!

i guess its per cell counting....it depends on how many cells you enter at the setup.

ex.

6cell = 03 >> 18mv as a pack

4cell = 03 >> 12mv as a pack
