Default Easy enough!!!

Yes-- that is it!
The excitement caused my lack of attention.

That is my story and I'm stickin to it.

As soon as the screws were tightened --- no isues with spurs at all.

Car is so much better in the corners than 12'.
It is fun to drive. Maybe to easy!!

And the Orange trim is sooooooo much better than that ---barfy Blue.

I like the blue it looks nice...on an xray. You will never see me brag a blue car from the shelf after the t4. Such a great car to dive!

But, where do you get those parts colored?!?

I did switch back to the 48 pitch gears as I thought in my head they would hold up better to the impacts I take...and make. Funny thing was my 64 pitch gears were noisy! Not sure if it was the brand of pinion or the spur but my car now sounds like a belt driven car should.

Anyone know if the newer gear diff can be used in a T2 '08?

Hope this helps!
Good stuff!! any other building tips??

i was trying to fit my ball diff from my '12 into the new t4, but it wouldn't fit, it seems like the bearing holders that go on the gear diff don't work with the ball diff, any suggestions.

Why do you want to use a balldiff?

I was going to try a gear diff in the front, who has the thick oil for sale in the states? Is 500000 or 1000000 the go to?

Does part of the ball diff foul on the bearing holders?

You can use the spool and gear diff etc from the T3'12 in the T4 as they are exactly the same, while the T3'11 could also take either.

finally got my T4 saturday and built it, painted the body......

First I found the build a little slow but it has been almost 3 years since I built a car so I think it was me being extra careful

Second the part and build quality is top notch...

the only thing I dont like is the trying to remove/add the pinion from the motor shaft, I am using a viper 17.5 redline ....its a PIA but once it is a tight fit, I am using 81/34 48p combo for now.

Funny thing is now my next club race is in 2 weeks but I am going away for a month on leave so I wont be able to run it until Late Jan... oh well I might take it with me and as I am driving through the states and canada I will see if I can get in on a race somewhere lol

Thanks for all the great tips I have found on here

after looking at the manual again, the ball diff can be used, but the bearing holders/Eccentric Hubs are a different part number from the '12 manual to the t4 manual. I wish X-ray would have made a note that the ball diff must be used with this eccentric Hub to work with the t4.

Default T4

First outing yesterday and I am very happy with the car! No blown spur gears or anything. Find the car very easy to drive also!

I think they took care of that right here...(from the t4 ad)

I just ordered some 1,000,000 from here:
http://www.tqrcracing.com/shop/produ....asp?p_id=3097

At least I hope it's 1,000,000. It has the proper part #, but I think it's a typo on TQ's page when they call it 1,000K

The only place I've found in the states so far that caries anything that heavy.

P.S. It's €XP€N$1V€ $H1T
