But yet whenever someone posts on here about it they get told they built the car wrong. Martin Hudy himself said he has had issues with the car eating spurs. My only hope is that they "optimize" the motor mount in the 14. Until then I'm going back to my 2012. Inbox if interested in a T4 all it needs is a spur gear

You didn't build it properly.
You're missing something man, not sure what it is since I've never stripped a spur yet.

Speaking of motor mounts, does anyone have info on the "optional" motor mount that team guys have been listing in their setups?

If you can identify if it's the motor moving or, some weird chassis twist action it might clear this up.

That is the way I change the spur all the time. The motor has always been in the same place.

Has any one else found the bladders have swelled? I could not get them to seat with my finger! I thought initially I had just over filled so I drop the oil out and attempted to put on still no joy!
Just ordered if any one else had experienced this? J

It is 4mm. My Associated wrench works fine. If you want to be sure measure the flats on the turnbuckle.

Perhaps best to take this up with Xray. If this were a design flaw everybody should be experiencing a similar issue. We aren't. Maybe the manufacturer can help.

Can honestly say that my son Blake runs his T4 25-30 packs a week for months now and has never stripped a spur gear. And he is running the box motor mount.
I know the first couple runs we found the 2 motor mount screws that are on the motor motor side directly under the spur gear slightly backed out. That would let the spur gear assembly become loose and possibly strip. We added a touch of lock tight and cranked them down and have had no issues.
