Looks good to me! I think I'm tossing in the towel on 550 motors and have a MMP/1410 en route. I ended up using my backup TT this weekend powered by a HK 100a sensored esc and a VXL motor and took 3rd with much more consistent laps. Heck I even drove the last 3rd of the race missing a front dogbone!

Is that an 1/8 scale wing you have? I'm running one and my car feels really well balanced.

Its a OFNA CRT .5 wing, before i had the tenshock in her i ran a 1410, first with a sidewinder sct before it smoked itself and then with a MMP and then with the same esc as you the HK Sens 100a out of my blitz, i do really rate them esc's, more so than my MMP imo

I am ok with my MMP but it is not as smooth as i remember them being in the past. I had to go back on firmware to 1.26 with the 1410 or it jumps on take off. It was worse on 3s...

I may start looking at other systems just to get closer to WP for winter.

The bearing size is not the same as the tt,so you would have to use the front cvd's. But I was told they won't fit buy nitrohosue.

The TT has a center diff, attempting to put a slipper clutch would be considered downgrade. Just work with different diff oils to get the results you are looking for.

How does this compare to a 1/8th scale BL MBX5T?
Worth trading the two?

I would say it depends. Depending on what electronics are in both cars, what upgrades each have, and what your intentions are (racing or bashing) if a class exists.

I love my Hyper TT but I have a 1/8th scale also and its a bit of an apples to oranges compare in my eyes.

Ofna TT set up:
-Hobbywing SC8 120a esc
-Tenshock 4600kv 4 pole motor
-Ace ds1313 metal gear servo
-Black Ofna wheels with worn Panther switch tires

Has rear CVDs.

All three diffs are freshly built with 5k/5k/2k gear oil

Has STRC steering parts.

My MBX5T Set Up:
Dyed Reflux Wheels, Brand New Proline Crimefighters, RC8E, Hobbywing 150A ESC with fan/2300KV Brushless motor new never run.... Motor has fan and heatsink that is installed
Includes Spektrum S100 Servo Heavy Duty Servo.

No class for either locally but one for 1/8th in ST Louis 125mi away. My local track though I'd have to race the Hyper TT with 4wd buggies or 4x4 short course trucks
