I just picked up a roller from a member on here. Installed a castle sct,1410 combo. All i can say is wow!! these little truggies can handle and jump.It is way faster than my blitz and is perfect for my backyard track. where my STRR-E is just to big to get around it fast.I was worried about durability but i haven't broken anything even on 50 degree days and big air jumps. I just wish these would have caught on.Tires are so much cheaper than 1/8 truggy. I am running the nitrohouse setup with double dee's tires and it works great.

The blitz tires grip more than the Badlands i had on the Rustler..

on the stock knuckles, i have had people tell me to shave a fuzz off the front of the hub. That allows the cover to go in deeper when screwed on.
I'd like to see a shim of some kind to go between the cover and the front of the ball. I thought about a thin oring but i think that would cause it to bind..

mine also have some slop in them. From the above thread it seems they left the tolerances a little loose on the bearings. some people put locktite in and that helped.

Thanks, broke at the end damn plastic rear hubs. Running 3500 velineon, spc 3s, 11-42 gear. The guy with the blue truck is Rick Jenkins, team driver for Caster pretty fast. The SC trucks are a lot bigger than are little tt's, all the SC guys are running 8th scale systems in there trucks 2200-2650 castle. I will say the tt's are quicker and jump better, but the SC trucks turn on a dime and don't sit on there lids when they flip, they roll back on there wheels. And that class is 4x4 Short Course.

I am pretty sure it is only the chassis, front and rear drive shafts and body. Every thing else is the same. If you want to split hairs then the wheels and tires are different also, but most people change wheels and tires like there underwear, too often and not often enough. LOL JK.

Thanks ambryatim

Anyone have a list of bodies that will work with the TT?

I have seen a Chevy body on one but forgot to ask if it was 1/10 scale or something smaller.

http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...tt-bodies.html

The lower chassis plate that sits under the center diff also.
The inside lower arm retainers are different also. TT and SC have tabs on the bottom to lock the sides on the chassis. STE's are flat. STE's are also obsolete. I just bought the TT version and cut off the tab...
