Hey guys I came up with another solution for the r40. You can use the hellfire engine screws.
Its part # 94529
Gives you hex screw with a m4X10 , a little more to grab onto the engine mount and with the hex you will be able to torque it down a little tighter and keep those engine screws from falling out.

Ok, just wanted to note. I made a mistake on the thread on the rear camber links. I went and adjusted it. Seems HPI doesnt sell anything in a different size of that part.
But did find they make a very similiar part for the proceed. I might adopt that part for the rear or im going to just try thicker or longer turnbuckles. That ought to solve the issue.
Ill keep you guys updated.

I like how the car handles, I found that my car in stock setup was way to loose and how to soften up the rear to get it to my liking. I also must add that we race in a parking lot and not on perment track. The clutch can be hard to setup when you first get it but when you know how it works and know how to adjust it the car will fly. (I got a lot of help from the people in here. Thanks Rapid Roy & A-I)
I enjoy driving my car, the nitro class is dead in Birmingham, AL but I still have my car and drive it between classes and maybe one day there will be a nitro class to race in. The other reason I drive my car in between classes is to put some foam down and give a little extra bit on the track, but it only affects the line I race
Enjoy the car, it is a lot of fun.
One last tip, you dont need a big $$$ engine to race one of these. Pick up a HPI .12xrs and you should be good. I raced with this engine and did good and I know have a Infinity Katana 512 that is fast and won the AL State race in Hunstville at the end of last year. Both engines are under 150.00
my .02$

Hey all whats up? I am getting back into the rc world. I have an R40 and love it, however I do need a new engine and some other spare parts for it. My last egnine I had for quite some time since my last race, it has seen its last day. So I am planning on getting an OS tz.
thanks fellow r40 owner!!
