Why is your web store so slow? I have tried to order spare parts for s411, but your website is so slow. I give up. Twice.

Stormer is supposed to have car and parts this week.

I swear it runs on dial-up. I usually do orders from there while using the computer for other things... It makes the 5min page refresh fly by much faster.

Worst website ever. I have no idea why (or how) anyone buys from it.

Mate, what parts do you need. We have a lot in stock here in OZ (Aus). And we ship world wide.

Cheers

I should be getting 2 of the 3 orders I've placed with RCMARKET this week. My experience has been fine thus far.

What did you think?

Also... have played with kit springs a bit and I strongly recommend changing out the rear spring for something more progressive. I have been playing with the Hara springs personally but it seems a necessity to get a solid rear end. A harder front bar (or softer rear) gives the car better balance mid corner too so try a 1.6 front or 1.2 rear.
Hello all,

Chris Kerswell and I both ran our S411's for the first time yesterday. Like you we found that going to heavier diff oil transformed the car. We got as far as 2000, but nobody had anything heavier at the track and we didn't have the parts to try 4 bevel gears. We are thinking along exactly the same lines as you. We're not sure that 2 gears with 2000 is equivalent to 4 gears with 1000, but we're pretty sure a 4 gear setup will result in a more viscous diff.

We will be trying the 2mm and 2.25mm chassis versions when we get them through. Chris also has some stiffer wishbones coming to try. I'll try and post our findings here once we've drawn some meaningful conclusions from the tests. I think in the long term a range of different hardness wishbones will be made available to allow you to fine tune your S411 to specific tracks and conditions.

Chris ran Hara grey springs and I started on hara blacks. We chose to run with what we know in the beginning and will do back to back comparisons with the serpent springs soon.

The driveshaft blades are very soft. In mod with a 4 turn motor they were lasting less than 2 runs. Harder ones are on the way but until then we've modified TC6 ones to fit and they seem fine. You just need to sand them a bit and run a 2mm drill through the holes.

Overall we have been very impressed with the quality of the car. We have some work to do on setups and this will be our testing target in the next couple of weeks. As with any new car; it takes a little while to get properly familiar with everything, but we are very optimistic for the future.
