Wouldnt it be fitting to to be able to have a national champion once more in the founding class of our sport.

Both Contact and Matrix do 50s. I heard an unsubstantiated rumor at last years GLC that hot race does also.

If if you can’t hunt some down, it simply means somebody in the Midwest is hoarding them all 😱
I can understand that it is hard to keep stocking the 45/50s front tires as these are only good for 2WD pan....I have been using the open on road set up F32 R37 for the 2WD and adjust my driving style and use up all my tires inventory but this setup is just not as good as the 45F 35R setup that I think is the fastest.............also, just it is not happening in US, I can't seems to find any dealer stock any of those tires. I have to look over Europe to place order.

John....do you know ROAR has any "Spec" about this 2WD pan car class..? Like fuel to run or engine to use...? Since this is a PROVISIONAL CLASS, I am hoping they are simply using the MWS rule and not really forcing to use the 1/8th OPEN rule onto the 2WD....just wondering.

Makes sense. Wallace carries WRC, who offer a pancar.

Even though there hasn't been a "national" 2wd champion crowned in a while, ROAR still includes it in their handbook under specifications beginning on page 71. They're actually more lenient than what we run (such as a maximum carb bore of 9mm. Local and MWS rules state a 6mm restrictor on 5-7-9 port engines), but most of the specs are already being followed.

Here's a link to the rule book. http://www.roarracing.com/downloads/..._Rule_Book.pdf

I use Zac traction Compound depending on tire condition. I also like to get the tire warm with a hairdryer as i treat them. This is similar to the Capricorn tire applicator.

Depends on if you are pushing a lot. You can also play with either only coating the inside or outside section. To play with grip levels. Keep in mind rim material also affects tire feel, i.e. carbon wheels are harderwhile typical "Opaque" white wheels are softer.

Ok i get it. I'll buy a tire additive and make some tests.

I'll leave a video where you can see my Mantua model intrepid running with other cars

Default Mantua

If you come the Nationals in Toledo, there will be at least 2 of us running Mantua cars. That in itself could be fun!
