Yes, nitro pancar will be offered as a provisional class. I’d love to see a good show put on by the class.
Wouldnt it be fitting to to be able to have a national champion once more in the founding class of our sport.
Both Contact and Matrix do 50s. I heard an unsubstantiated rumor at last years GLC that hot race does also.
If if you can’t hunt some down, it simply means somebody in the Midwest is hoarding them all 😱

John....do you know ROAR has any "Spec" about this 2WD pan car class..? Like fuel to run or engine to use...? Since this is a PROVISIONAL CLASS, I am hoping they are simply using the MWS rule and not really forcing to use the 1/8th OPEN rule onto the 2WD....just wondering.

Even though there hasn't been a "national" 2wd champion crowned in a while, ROAR still includes it in their handbook under specifications beginning on page 71. They're actually more lenient than what we run (such as a maximum carb bore of 9mm. Local and MWS rules state a 6mm restrictor on 5-7-9 port engines), but most of the specs are already being followed.

Mantua
If you come the Nationals in Toledo, there will be at least 2 of us running Mantua cars. That in itself could be fun!
