Ted - Hmmm.... What day sounds good to you guys?? Wednesday?? Track opens at noon, racing starts at 5pm??

Rob - You can try the XRC chassis, but if you need more steering just go straight to the BMI one.... I was never able to make the XRC chassis turn enough without lifting the inside rear tire....

Josh,

Wednesday is good for me, practice Tuesday, race Wednesday.

I figure we could call it the "Winter Break Classic" we could even have shirts for the winners. Of course they all say Dodge on them (and they are used) but what the heck, any excuse to race.

Josh,

I noticed a couple of post up your reply to Rob about the Xrc Chassis and its lack of steering without lifting the rear wheel. Does this mean you are running the stock FK chassis , or are you running a custom built chassis? I am running the stock FK with excellent results(very high bite carpet) and was wondering if stiffening the chassis would help that much. Any input?

Thanks...

Josh:

Hi,

we hope both you and Angel have a Merry Christmas. as for mid week racing let us know as it will be the last week day racing for us.
your new 1/12th scale body is simply awsome. I was hoping for a return to upen cockpit cars soon.

Ted:

Hi:

Happy Holidays to your family as well. it was great seeing you and Bobbby at Cleveland.

Rob Mincey:

Hi,

The B.M.I. chassis split chassis will work in stock. but the 350 chassis works the best. very easy to drive fast easy to setup we run one and realy like it. B.M.I.. does make a 160 chassis also for stock and 19 turn this chassis allow a litte more space for electronics. Chuck Lonergan is running one on his Xray.

(Josh; sorry for taking over your thread )

Thanks

Ted - Tuesday is oval practice... Would you like to practice Wednesday and have the race on Thursday???

Jamie - I run a chassis that has some extra slots on the left side to move the batteries another 2 slots farther forward. This gives increased steering from the weight bias instead of having to make the front end more aggresive (more roll) meaning that the inside tire will lift easier.... The stiffer chassis will give you more corner speed as you don't loose any power or corner speed due to the chassis absorbing the enery (chassis flexing)....

Rick - I think so, I must have forgot to reply... I'll write ya soon!

Tim - No problem!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!!!

Josh,

I don't know how I could forget about the oval racing, or at least the practice you get setting up the track.

I don't have a preference either way. I have the week off and I will be down to practice/race no matter what. Just trying to get other folks interested. Let's see what the response is and you can decide from their input.

Have a nice Christmas, this may be the last quiet one you get, next year Santa will be there for the little one.

Thanks Barry, same to you!

Actually Bobby is only one of four, so it hasn't been quiet here for a long time.

Merry Christmas
