Not sure if it will make the diff smoother but felt its better than having a regular bearing in there.
So for the regular bearing the manual says ( ) for the spring washers, with this part you gotta do ) (. I also put a dab of bfast thrust grease on sides of the bearing before installation.

Ride height around 5 for front chassis and 4.5 for rear (I have the tuning Haus 0.5 block to get it exactly 5mm rear pod)
Running 350 oil in damper with blue spring (softer of the two in the kit) 3 hole kit piston
Link springs outermost of the 3 options with gold (medium spring). The outermost allows chassis a roll a bit and not be as twitchy
I have also done the front axle trailing change but not put it on track yet. Supposed to smooth her out more. Shorty servo as forward as possible for max ackerman effect.
Most important pit tires front soft rear med. There are no others which work at our track (except yokomos which are the same make but rare to find). Also check how much preload you have on the center damper, should have some give.
Another thing I had to do was reduce pod droop otherwise with full droop was undrivable off power. I made the pod droop to 1.5. If I am not mistaken, all other things being equal, a black oring and a 2mm limiter inside your center damper should bring droop to around 1.5. But check anyways.
Heres a tutorial to do it scroll to the droop section http://www.tamiyausa.com/articles/f1...e#.UpU-R8RDtQY
Must have upgrades are the carbon links from tamiya but they are always backordered so grab some when they come up ,
Good to have upgrades are

http://www.tqrcracing.com/shop/produ....asp?p_id=7056 for ride height the kit comes with 0,1 and 2 offset I got the 0.5 as well.
And that thrust bearing.

When installing the f103 thrust bearing into the trf 101. What does the thrust bearing replace in the assembly, the spur adapter? Or does it replace the bearing next to the conical washers. It also has the longer diff spacer do I use that or the original one. Lastly I was told if installing the trust bearing that the disk springs go backwards, true?
Thanks
Thanks

Drove my TRF101 for the second time in a race and the car was once again very smooth and constant.
Drove the fastest lap time of the day but the guys with a ver.II are not that much slower, the second fastest time was 0,03 seconds slower.
Even with a less powerfull motor (comparing to the other guys) i was able to take TQ and the overall win of today.
2 times i finished second and 2 wins out of 4 races and still 3 more races to compete to be hopefully the overall season winner.
I have high hopes
