BTW... I drove my car at Bending Corners Raceway yesterday (outdoor asphalt medium to high grip) for the first time and my car didn't have any of the "problems" people have been complaining about.... my car is silver can, with the smaller stock spur gear.... I drove it with the rear spring removed with the stock t-bar...

The car was straight as an arrow on the back straight... and the only thing I noticed was that it had some high speed understeer (not necessarily on power, just higher speed). low speed oversteer... but after a lap or two, it was really easy to get used to and compensate for... rear end was planted

Sight toe-in, stock tires, rear spring removed, stock t-bar, Team Orion 3400, Spektrum 3500, Novak XRS, negative camber setting, no tire additive....

if anyone has any ideas about the over/under steering issue, I'm all ears.. but other than that... the 104 is a keeper....
The battery im using is the IP5000, its taller than the orion packs(or just about any other pack). You may want to see if it will work for you.

How much are you looking to spend? Mine has been raced twice.

I get the under/over during mid corner.... I'll try fiddling with the friction damper (only a little as my car is 80% there and I don't want to mess anything up)...

I was thinking about getting the Option B tires since it has been mentioned that on asphalt they give more grip... so maybe I'll get a little more control

thoughts?

I think the optional tyres would be worth trying. I'll definitely be getting some once the wheels are available again from rcmodel. I'm getting a bit of mid corner understeer in longer medium speed corners too. But that's running soft T-bar and soft front springs (silver).

I am not seeing much benefit in running the soft T-bar when I'm not using a shock spring. So I will probably go back to the std T-bar but keep the soft front spring.

Gave my car a bash today on a dirty race track and apart from losing control and ending up in a massive puddle had a blast with it. The Tamiya 12t brushless might be a little much for it though. Cant wait to try it on a grippy surface.

It looks GREAT... I wish Tamiya would have included the "bar code" decals though...

they should have since it doesn't actually say "Marlboro"

Oops, read it wrong. You want the axles spacers for the wheels... I thought you wanted the spacers for the steering knuckle.
