Anyone try Yeah Racing hop ups?
Bros,
Anyone try Yeah Racing F1 hop ups? I am new in F1 and wanna find sth new for my car. Just find that Yeah Racing has launched some new parts and looks pretty nice. I checked rcmart and the price is reasonable, any bros has tried this brand before?

I use the single sided motor mount, and another guy got the new complete alloy pod. Ive also just tried out the alloy knuckle set. That wasnt bad, didnt notice a heap of difference. But i guess the alloy knuckles will last a lot longer than the standard plastic ones.

hi, the pod with ball bearing for the T-plate looks like a nice idea. how does it perform on the track?

My thoughts on this are sort of mixed. First Yeah Racing is very hard to find here in Japan so I havent seen on in person. The Gearbox itself dosent look that bad. It looks heavy but like Mildseven said if you are using Lipos that might not be bad. One other thing that I look for in a F103 gear box is if i can use it on my F103GT and F103L. These sometimes require a large pinion gear. The D-Drive Box i use on both my F103 and F103GT,on the GT i can get a 29tooth/64p pinion on it using the larger spur. With the small spur for F1 my largeest pinion gear a 32t still had lots of room.
The bearings in the "T" bar to me seems like the shock would be working overtime along with the friction grease. Both the friction damper grease, and shock would have to be re tuned. Also they would become very critical. This idea might work better with a rolling damper set up. where the friction damper grease wouldnt effect the foward moverment of the pod.
With Yeah Racing can you order the "T" parts by itself?

I got my 103 rolling last night and did the first real drive today and so far so good. The thing is pretty quick considering the Johnson 540 motor but what surprised me the most was how agile it is. The way it handles in the smoothly paved parking lot outside my apartment is incredible. I get a small bit of push if I am on too much gas but if I hit a turn at the right speed it just grooves. I do need to upgrade the steering linkages, the stock ones allow too much play. Tomorrow I will take it to the carpet to see how that goes. What a fun little car.
