Unfortunately, that didn't answer my question, as I was asking about not only three different vehicles, but three different types of vehicles - a 1/8 buggy (TLR 8ight-XE), a 1/10 SC truck chassis (LCG Slash 4x4) that's been converted into a 1/8 buggy, and a 1/10 stadium truck chassis (LCG Rustler 4x4) that's been converted into a SC truck. While the first two are similar, they're not the same, as one has a heavier metal chassis, and the other has a much lighter plastic chassis.
I'm sure he knows his "RC car line", but, at the same time, just using the ESCs as examples, a person wouldn't put an RX8 & RX4 into the same vehicles, any more than they'd put a Pro4 & Pro4 HD into the same vehicle. Except ESC, and each motor, has specific vehicle types they ffi best into. Would you put a Ford 351 V8 engine in a Ford Pinto? Of course not. Even though it could fit, that engine would be completely wrong for that car.
No worries, though, as I'm now looking into other options (although, NOT Castle).

Take into account that those ESC's are not just limited to one type of car. Also do not think that just because your 1/8 buggy may weigh more, that the same combo would not work in your Traxxas "1/8 Buggy" Backslash conversion.
and for your Pinto Analogy, people have put 302 V8 motors in them too.
Perhaps I would also suggest to browse the forum threads specific to those vehicles and see what those persons are running as well.

Tekin Redline G3 10.5t issues.
Last week I purchased the G3 10.5 and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately after about a dozen runs on mixed surfaces, now chirps and the shaft twitches. I was extra cautious to avoid overheating, while taking it apart I noticed the stater(rotor?) Was in great condition, no scratches or discoloration and bearings looked great and rolled smooth and quiet.
This is my first brushless motor so it's all fairly new to me but even with help from experienced friends haven't been able to diagnose the issue. How common is it to ruin a circut board with no obvious damage to them? The issue first started when I tried a 3cell battery before I even had a chance to do a temp check on it. It certainly gets warm quickly when it's doing it's twitchy thing on the throttle, all wires and solder joints have been double checked for breaks/shorts. super fun motor, great all around performance but $100+ into a motor for a week is discouraging. Any advice or opinions on what the issue could be would be greatly appreciated.

I cannot find Hotwire firmware version 5.73 v224 for Gen1 ESC on Teken site. If someone can help and send it to me I would really appreciate it.
