I still have the "Original Black Cyclone" and it is till extremely competitive. I have been slowly but surely upgrading to all the newer parts. The "COOL BLUE"!
Does the new TC car revert back to the Version 2 drive shafts or does it still use the WCE CVDs?

ha the good ole "updated version" discussion
My take on this - keep your current cars. The "stock" Hara/Surikarn/WCE cyclone is still a winner all around the world and this won't change, raised bulkheads or not. I've ordered some parts of the "pro" diff (spur, balls, screw, alum outdrives) as this is the only weak point of the car and I don't want to replace reliable metal outdrives with flimsy plastic ones (those of you who've already had ringed diff outdrives know how much of a PITA it is to work with them anyway), but to me the rest is just the usual "new and updated" marketing tune. Worst case, spend just $130 as someone mentioned above.
On another note - I just changed the CVD bones on my retrofitted Hara Ed. (which is still running strong, thank you ) and I noticed there is slight binding in that articulation pin that goes across the bome, the hole in the CVD bone seems to be somewhat small for the pin Anyone else noticed that on a recent batch of bones?
Thanks,
Paul
