64p gives a variety of things but most importantly, it gives smaller increment rollouts to yield optimum performance.

sorry two more question's, i just bought this car ( used to have the old JRXS ) and it was setup for foam tyres but i use rubber.

with my rubber rims bolted on the track is 190mm across the back but only 185mm accross the front, the driveshafts actually stick out further than the rim. should i be using a thicker hex spacer here?

i have also seen people mount the ESC on both the right and left side of the chassis, which is now considered the best location?

You can get wider metal hexes, they are better all around since they don't stick to the wheel. The axles stick past the nut even with the widest hex, you should grind it down so they don't catch on boards and break parts.
There are 3 sizes, .165, .195 and .225

i run my esc on the left side of the chassi.depending on what ya use you might have to add weight to the right side to make the car balanced....i actually dont have no weight on my left side and i dont really notice a difference...prolly cause i dont care either....lol
i have seen people run there esc on the top deck also....just a suggestion.

I run my esc on right. It's doesn't matter, it all just depends on how you want to wire it up. I choose to route the top 3 motor wires and sensor wire on the top deck. I left just enough slack in them so I could remove the motor without un-soldering it to make timing changes (Trinity Duo).

I do use those pins to ballance my car and this is what I use to get my car even.
With my setup(brushless, li-po), My car is exactlly even left to right and goes a tiny bit forward.

- ESC on right side of car, quarter-inch back from the graphite top-plate
*the capacitator and switch are behind the esc with the capacitator in between the esc and the switch.

- 14 grams of weight in front of the esc

-Recever also a quarter inch back from the graphite top-plate

- 28 grams of weight in front of the reciever

- 42 grams of weight right behind the antenna.(middle slot for antenna placement)

***this weight is perfect for me even though it is about 1515 grams. - (were running the new ROAR minimum of 1500.)***

Hope this helps,
Andy
