but i thought if you lower the ratio of the car, it takes the engine more effort to rev up due to its low ratio..which give the car more top speed up lower acceleration...you could full throttle for more then 5-6 secs or even longer cuz it takes the engine more time to reach its max speed!

i read this somewhere...dunno if its right!

Oops... brain in gear.... you are correct 999 gear it as LOW as humanly possible!!

As for the 3-4 sec limit that should be 3-4 secs with engine 'screaming'! It's 2:50 AM getting late!!!!!

Can you tell me, (i know this could be hard) bassed on the pictures attached what kind of setup i should have? Mainly in gearing and front and rear differential selections.

This track is HUGE!!! They run 1/5 on this track.

Thanks in advance.

What tire are you going to run on this track?

If you run on rubber tire, you might like to just stick with the stock setting but you need to reduce camber to rear/1'-1.5' and front/0'-0.5'

use lower gear ratio as compare with the stock box pinion. start with 17/21 and go down on the gear ratio if you think you dont have the speed on the straight. as for clutch, you might just stick with the stock clutch for a while but you need to change to a bit harder spring. Kyosho made a harder spring which is color in blue. rather then that, stay with the box setting overall.

One thing about building the shocks, there is another tree with two spring bottom retainer which is in dark blue color and it is flatter which allow the long spring seat lower in the rear. I see a lot of people miss that part but use the retainer which comes with the shock parts tree.

Hope this help

just stick with the stock rear diff. some people (including me) has toasted the LSD big bevel gear. It just cracked in the middle. I suggest you to wait for the kawahara negative diff.
