I first tried the upper deck and I was able to shave off close to a half a second per lap.
I tested the chassis flex and it was almost gone. I picked up the 3mm chassis in a trade and slapped it on the car and the lap times were the same as with just the upper deck. Maybe it was just me, but the chassis didn't make a difference and it is $80 at the track and it isn't something that someone "really" needs to have on the car to make it fast. I will be offing my 3mm chassis when the BMI comes out and keeping the stock one as a spare.

Where did you have yours done? Cost? I was quoted $125 to get mine done. A bit pricy...but if it turns out half as good as yours...it's worth it!

Just curious cause when I added weight I added more on the battery-side then I did on the electronics side to try to balance the car out (I run 3300 packs).

I guess it all depends on the equipment you run. I'm using a futaba digital servo, Novak Synthesized Rx and a GTX. With foams, it weighs in at 1386 grams with a kydex front bumber, PT between bumper and bulk heads, Tamale chubs and aluminum rear hubs, cut foams and body. I plan on putting a little more weight in the rear, but a bit more in the front. As is, it's on rails.

Thanks for the clarity -
