Check the XRay site, there are a few starting setups there or ask people at your local track...I'm sure they will be glad to help.

Hey, for you, HarshGuy, and anyone else who wants decent asphalt starting set-up. I am going to fill out a set-up sheet and put it on here.

Default Set-Up

Alright guys, this is an asphalt set-up for 19 turn.

Before you go and try it, and say it sucks, remember each persons driving style is different. the car is very fast, I had to use brakes though going into the 180s, still working on that so I don't have to use brakes. Even if the car feels funny, this should be a decent, basic, set-up. I like my cars to feel very "on-edge".

I "built my own" screw kit with blue countersunk washers & titanium button head & flat head screws from my LHS (Speedworld raceway in Roseville, CA) ...he didn't have all the sized I needed in stock, so got the rest from speedtech. The spacers are a Tamiya item ...I'm using them everywhere I need a spacer (e.g. rear arm spacers, bump steer steering arm spacer, etc...) http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?&I=LXDEB4

What does running the rear arm mounts in the lower holes do to the handling.

using lower holes would give the car a lower roll center = more rear roll = more rear traction.

No, the spur already sits pretty low.
I use a 64p 116t Precision Racing System Spur in mine.
I heard the only spurs that are having a hard time fitting are the 64p Kimbrough ones.
They are too wide.

i use kimbrough spurs and they fit perfectly...IF you screw them on properly.

116t 64dp is the biggest you can get in without any modification to the chassis.
87t 48dp is the maximum you can go as well.
