So basically instead of using turbo we will now ramp boost throughout the rpm curve. And instead of just having 30 degrees of boost and then turbo, we will now have 50 degrees of boost...and turbo may not be needed in some cases?

Yang is right about the timing and turbo setting. I was not sure from what I was comfortable setting with Vegas that it would work with v203. I took a couple teeth off and turned the can timing down too. Off the turns the car popped. It wiggled the rear a touch. I will have to increase my axle width.
I have heard so much about the performance of the black magic speedo and having the opportunity to try the v203, I am confident you all will flood Tekin with 'Thank You' e-mails or flood their Facebook site with positive comments.
I was told this version will release soon....

wish I had v203 for today. we are running our last race tonight on our current layout, we unroll the carpet for each race, so no practice time to test new stuff. It would be nice to try the new software on a known layout to be able to adapt to it easier, since testing is not possible. Hint, hint
Thanks again Tekin for keeping us up to speed.

guys, remember that the article referenced is for oval guys. I have not see this to be true for onroad. when you guys get the software, just load it set timing to a combined of turbo and timing and drop 2 teeth. you will probably end up geared the way you had vegas 200, but I hate to see a hand full of motors all blow up jan1. lol

After having quite a bit of track time in with newest stuff and running just 1s 17.5 12th scale. I have been keeping good notes and making setup sheets which will be available on Tekin site. One of which should be good base for most tracks 17.5/13.5 besides gearing for 13.5. Which I should have more setups in by next Tuesday for 13.5 with gearing. To all Tekin supporters and Drivers who have not run this yet its well worth the wait for the 1st Don't worry if you have been silly enough to buy one of those other speedos you still got a day or so to sell it while its still fast

Since you're new to this forum I want to help you out. But make sure you read a few pages for this information, or try the search function too. But then if you can't find you answer feel free to ask. The only reason I say this is because the answers to your questions were posted in the last couple of days and people will flame the hell out of you if you don't search first.
Oh and you will have to sign up on Tekin's site to download the new version.

I will say this guys... please beware of your timing settings once you get 2.03.
DUO1, DUO2, Nemesis, Novak, and Speed Passion seem to be able to handle a good amount of timing without melting them down.
The LRP motors, however... do NOT turn the timing up a lot with this software. You WILL blow them up. I've seen one last as little as 3 laps with the new stuff where as a DUO with the same speedo settings worked fine.
Just an FYI...
