2.03 is a new ball game, but a VERY good one.
i think when chicky run's lrp motors he's up around 200*. that's the temp they like.

Maybe smart to ad a cap and a fan.

It will be harder to find a good setup with the V203 with the RPM settings or can you keep it for 1 motor on the same settings on all the track and you only change the Boost and the Turbo?
if that is the only problem it is easy to buy a fan to keep the esc and motor cool.

i hope to use the same settings but haven´t been racing off-road for 8 years now so i don´t know any off the tracks just thought it could be fun to try again on a low budget if that is possiple

Whit Tekin it will stay cheap. Updates are free and I started with the power of a LRP TC, Than it became faster and it was even a bit faster than the SPX. Now it will be even faster.
With LRP you had a LRP TC, than buy a SPX and now you need to wait for the SXX and it's slower than the AE and you can't update it so it will always stay with that speed.
Tekin will improve time after time.

But the hobby is not cheap. It's suspensive I now and it will always be like that.
But now with the Lipo's and the Brushless motor's, the price is lower for me than before.

yes tekin is cheap and i think i will stick to it, i have the rs just need some seriouse track days to get to know it better specially with the new update.

it´s cheaper now with lipo and brushless yes and alot more fun and more race time so the hobby is moving the right way

Both only flashed 1 LED for temp. The room was on the colder side though, in the 60's.

you are border line, but it is recommended in 4wd offroad to use the pro do to the load the drive train and tires put on the esc

What was the timing on the RS set to?
Any Turbo?

I'll be running for the first time on Sunday and don't really want to blow it up straight away.

Are you running it in 13.5 or 17.5?

Any Tekin drivers that have tips/tricks for HotWire 2.03? My first run with it will be on Friday night.
