The gear diff will give you amazing pull from the line, when its up and running its no diffrent to a ball diff. But in finals amazing of the line.
Cheers

Yes we are able to put the spec-r gear diff on the TCX if you would like to.
These are what you will need,
1. Spec-R gear diff for Tamiya 416x
2. Tamiya 416x front drive pulley
3. HB Cyclone TC front and rear drive belts
4. Tamiya 416x rear drive shafts
*For the rear drive shafts, you can also use our HB universal drive shaft (44mm) with plastic blades w/some dremel work on the drive cups on the gear diff.
I would suggest to start with #1000 diff lube.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.

Got my TCX at last. Good to know that they have brought back some of the moorespeed goodies like the bumper brace. Still lacking alum bearing holder and shock adjust nuts though.

Is that why none of the pro drivers using plastic diff?
Although some using complete different car lol
Xray thinks plastic shocks as good as lovely cyclone or tamiya shocks
They both sounds same

The Tamiya diff pulley has 37t, layshaft pulley has 20. So 37/20= 1,85 (instead of original 39/20= 1,95)

Yes,the aluminum out drives are more durable. But that doesn't mean the composit one is not durable. You can use the composit one for mod with no problem in fact Hara won the TITC w/composit out drives. He also used 46mm drive shafts at the race.
Thanks,
Thanks,
