I just can't remember what i used (center pulley and belts) at that time as it's way long time ago. If you could find the right pulley and the belts, it is able to try the gear diff with Cyclone TC.

Thanks,

For those who (will) have a TCX, an editable setup sheet is available on petitrc.
It seems none is available right now from HB.

Will the DCJ be compatible with the TCX? Can we adapt them?

Crap! I was thinking about trying to mount the double articulation on TC driveshafts... They are too short, but with the double articulation...

Who knows... or who can try...

Never had the privilege of seeing a TCX up close, but does it share a lot of parts with the TC?

U can't do that,
you can use axle, mip or standard, with new dog bone but forget about DCJ's,
I have old but great pro4 mip and square titanium dog bones Also asso tc3 dog bone will work there so lot of options in front. U can try composite IRS TC3 mip style dog bones if u can find them

no, it's less fragile then alu, if u hit hard alu will bend or brake, composite will stay the same as it's flex capable.

I used years ago on the HPI PRO 4 the TC3 composite shaft, but they were extremely fragile... It breaks easily pin hole and not have a large steering angle.

i still have them on pro4, but i don't have steering angle that stress out pin hole, always take care of that, with alu or with composite, i don't like when cvd's are stressed at pinhole due to the performance and wearing. I Always try to make setup so that i have more steering without stressing dog bone/axle joint.

Sorry I expressed myself badly, the amount of steering is the same but the composite shaft have more chatter (at least that's what I noticed).
