Man, if you ask about setups for rubber on carpet, RDX guys from the entire world will help you out. That's pretty cool. Corally has built a helpful team worldwide.

Were you at the 2004 Worlds in Florida? I met someone from Belgium I believe that practiced in Tampa running an RDX.

Has anyone tried the new arms with foams on carpet yet?

I've found that the additional outer hole on the front arms means your wheels will hit the shocks a lot sooner. Going to have to dial some EPA out of the radio as a result. Is this additional 'outer' hole in the arm meant for rubber tire and not foam?

Does the increased shock angle help make up for some of the lost steering? Will softer springs be necessary up front? Or do you just use the inner hole (which is the outermost hole on the old arms)?

I believe you just use the inner hole up front and carry on as normal

Yeah, thats what I would do. With the 28mm foams we already have issues with steering travel, so on the new arm just use the inner hole.

Thanks guys, that was kinda my thinking.

The inner hole on the new arm is the same as the outermost hole on the old arm. Don't think I should have to change the front spring.

Inner hole - foam.

Outer hole - rubber.

(that doesn't sound quite right )
