Hi W .T.
If you are using the stock black or orange belt they go loose in few meets time . I was told to use wider belt made by team titan or you can use X ray front belt . last longer and fits better . we will be trying some new belts this Sunday . will let you know how we go .

I am using the orange belt on the rear.
(During the A final it came off put it back on and finished the race)
New fot the final.

I've been told that the new rear chassis brace fixes that problem.

ccrc is right, the belts go loose after the first runs...front and side belts also affected.

seems like the belts become slightly longer after they're been used.

usually i'll start with the stock tension for new belts and after a run, i'll adjust them a notch tighter.

We will be trying this next weekend as i think that might be a solution , if not we will be getting more tension groves cut in the diff holder. or work out a pulley tension system , my drawing is crap but item might be good .

the underside of the belt is what gets loose, as that is the slack side.
why not try the old G4S underside belt tensioner, as i guess it would be easier to put on, and any added weight is as low as it can go. ? just a suggestion.
you can also then use the lowest position for the diff and even keep the weight lower there as well.

BTW
i dont have any problems with belts coming off, or getting loose. and i use the orange belts.

Not driving hard enough . i could use couple of rear orange belts in the front . that how far they are stretched . But on the other hand both times this happened was on small tech. tracks . on and off gas too often .

well i was going to say that, but thats not the case unfortunately.
i have the same set of belts and pinions and spurs from the Nats.

Thats not where it goes, it goes between the motor mount and the bulkhead, inbetween the belt. The motormount side is screwd from the bottom of the chassis.
