The Hobby Chamber is in West Haven , CT. It is an indoor blacktop track. Great facility. Smooth surface, nice people, good and fun racing. Nicely run and have the best grilled cheese and bacon sandwiches. I have been running there since September. I plan on being there all winter, and throw in some rally once in a while. The owner is George, give him a call, tell him I sent you 203-934-7317. They are having a 1500 Lap enduro in December with 10 4-man teams. They will run any class, electric or nitro that shows. Mainly the crowd has been nitro.

that must have been Karls table you were looking at..

I didn't break any of the times I was there......In fact,I was snoozing between heats...

Only got to go to three races...And I'm in first place in sebring series..untill they post the final two....

I'm gonna call Karl and see if we can make it up...I might come up alone if he doesn't want to go...I'll PM you ahead of time..

What cars are they running in nitro touring?..

Harry, how is the crowd at the barn? We were thinking of rally on fridays there.

Do you have an address or link for that track? I might move to NY around Christmass. If i have time i would continue to race and im looking for indoor nitro tracks.

Lemans sucked big time! They didn't spray the track after it rained. So it was like driving on ice. Plus the track is really dirty for some reason. Now I'm gonna have to spend couple days taking my car apart to clean

It was cool though, I almost finish breaking in my d5.

So which race are you attending in the next couple of weeks/month?

thankyou for the info
i found the kit with the mr12 locally so i went ahead and got it
next the assembly , im sure i will have a bunch of questions for you guys in the near future , i would like to say in advance thankyou for any input/tips
so far i just plan on putting in uviversals upfront and leave everything else stock
a friend of mine who runs the car said to do alot of sanding on the brake material (he said to sand atleast 1/2 of it away)
to free up the drive train , does this sound correct
thanks

there are reasons why the stock brake pad feels like blinding.

1/. the steel brake pad backing plate is not flat due to the manufactoring process.
2/. the stock brake pad thickness is too fit

and there are things you need to aware.

1/. the brake pad holes dont blind with the brake pins on the bulk head.
2/. if you use the stock brake pad, sand it until the pad surface is flat.

I use the option yellow brake pad and that doesnt blind with the rotor disc at all.

Just get the yellow pads, you will not regret them. Also don't forget the aluminium wheel hex if you can. Are you running one way?

pm me if you're interested in SQUARE Ti Hollow 2-Speed shaft and SQUARE Ti Hollow Mid Shaft; only if you can afford them, of course.
