Thanks! Naah, I don't mind if they do, I haven't really experienced anyhting like that. But what I hate are the white GRP wheels, they don't fit.

Oh it looked liked it was happening from the black marks on the rear corner. Every time I was hit from behind the tire sucked in the body and it stayed there until you rolled the car backwards to release it.

Fixed my Ferrari body with a pair of scissors... had to 'bob' the body after the rear tire... I liked the look before the modification better... but it stopped body tuck...

Default Ipanema Racing Tires

We had a test and tune day this last Sunday and I tried the 45 shore Ipanema Racing Tires on my Kyosho IGT. They worked great! I compared them to Twister and Ofna tires and the Ipanema tires were significantly better.

If you have a GT car you need to try these tires. I have the Ipanema tires in stock.

There are three facilities in Northern California that are willing to try the IGT class (RC Cars, Speedworld and the RAMS - possibly other clubs as well). So far - no takers.

Do those tracks have on-site hobby shops or support?

You might have better luck proposing a GT class rather than IGT. While one specific brand will work well for some, others might prefer greater variety. I feel the class has greater growth potential if other brands are allowed to participate. There are 2 more manufacturers with cars in development. The class has a great deal of potential.

Greater LA RCRC will run them provided enough show up. I have one and if you want to bring one to the next club race, I'll bring mine. If nothing else, we can maybe run with the 1/5 cars.

Sure.

The local hobby shops have a mailing list of all of the ready-to-runs sold. The owners are eMailed and invited to race. So far, baring name issues, we have had no takers. The class isn't limited to one manufacturer.

The 1/5 Scale racers are running Baja buggies with jumps. We are willing to try most, gas, classes. The hobby has to grow - or - we're all in a jammmmm
