I've been using the twister tires up here in NYC for months now and the traction is great now that the weather is warmer takes about 2 laps for them to heat up and they really stick to the track. Tire wear is ok I can get 3 - 4 race days out of a full set.

It was an open bag item I found on the shelf at Superior Hobbies in Orlando made by Bergonzoni.

Ipanemas stick better than Twisters, but foams are unbelievable.

Integy has a 'V' tread tire w/molded insert for $20 a pair that worked really well at the Chicago MWS race this past weekend.
Speaking of the MWS...The GT class is a hit, and I expect it to grow throughout the season.

Default GT Class TIres

I ran both the Integy V-Slick (soft compound ) and the Inpanema (medium compound, belted) tires at the Chicago MWS race. The Inpanema tires provided a little more grip for that track surface.

Believe this or not, I built some tires for my IGT. I used OFNA rims with OFNA non-belted slicks but replaced the stock foam with the medium Proline gray rubber-foam inserts. My car has been hooked with this combination on the prepped asphalt track that we run for the Bass Pro Series. Just need to replace the stock servos with some better ones now (I only replaced the RX/TX in mine).

Hi! We had the club evening yesterday and had several stock IGT cars with us, it was absolutely fantastic to get 5-6 stock IGTs on the track at the same time. Few shots below by AE-Mod.

Nice pics! Don't you hate the way the rear tires suck in the Ferrari body?
