Murnan Modified Motors
#2176
Hello Uriah,
Had some time this past weekend to break in the MMFlash .21 at the
Roar Soutwest Series race#3. Amazing power, never stopped pulling
on the straight away and into the off sweeper! Bottom end was really
monstrous! Engine ran great with the short header & 2015 pipe.
Made 5 minutes with enough fuel to run an extra lap. TQ & A-Main win!
Thanks for the HorsePower!

Grinder: what of your .12 engines and pipe combo, for 1/10 touring, has the most bottom end? My track is only in 2nd for a millisecond and we have mostly tight 180's. Don't need any top.
thank you,
Jay

Im not Murnan, but 2nd for a milisecond in the entire track seems to me that you would want a Picco based engine. Maybe wait for JLR to release EVO 4 so Murnan can turn it into a beast. Or just stay away from the 11.9 Novarossi family because in my opinion, they are just not as good in bottom end as 11.5mm engines. Hope Uriah can shed some light on this subject for you .

@Grinder
Do you use the 3rd adjustment screw on Nova carbs (on the backside) to tune the engine? If yes, what is your strategy or what do you look for if you turn this screw?
I know, the general advise is not to touch this screw and keep it flush with the carb body. But it must be there for a reason, otherwise Novarossi would only produce carbs without this adjustment, right?
Could you please shed some light on this topic?
Thanks a lot and best regards,
Stefan
