Zombies, did you use any grease or lubrication with the delrin pivot balls? I didn't think it was necessary but I'm just wondering. I've had the delrin pivot balls for about 2 months now, suspension is smooooth.
On a side note, the delrin diff outdrives actually weigh 0.1g more than the stock outdrives, I thought they were supposed to be lighter?

Further to that, as I dont have any, what should I buy as a replacement for the white cap and red cap grease as mentioned in the instruction manual?

I use silicon grease for the white cap grease, and Associated Black Grease for the red cap.

the stock graphite outdrives will alsway be lighter...due to being more porous material and delrin is rock solid with properties of steel.

I use Woodland Scenics Premium Gear Lube on ball diff and diff gears. Extremely smooth. 100% better than white cap. I use Woodland Scenics Moly Grease w/Molybdenum replace red cap.

Erik,
How should I gear my derlin diff halves?

What do you mean by how should you gear them? They use the same bevel gears as the stock diffs do and are no different except their material...

IT'S A JOKE, DAMNIT A JOKE!!!!
You know, being as it's the same four guys in here... you should see by now that nearly EVERY TIME I POST IN HERE I ASK ERIK HOW TO GEAR.
It does not require you to try to be a good samaritain and answer my silly "how do I gear?" question.
If you would like I can add some sort of notation that will allow you all to clearly tell that it is a joke, something like the following:
"THE FOLLOWING IS A JOKE INTENDED FOR THE AMUSEMENT OF ERIK SHAUVER. THIS IS ONLY A JOKE. IF IT WERE A REAL QUESTION IT WOULD HAVE PROBABLY BEEN EMAILED DIRECTLY TO MR. SHAUVER.
REMEMBER, THIS IS ONLY A JOKE."
But, if I did that everytime I made a silly joking comment, the comment itself would lose all commedic value...
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I use red TAMIYA spring in the rear and that is the softest TAMIYA has. I do need more traction on the rear...what else could I do?
