That tip is for assembling stick packs... Of course you can use it for side by side, but I don't know why anyone would want to...

I have had and have a Pro 4 and TC4 FT. For carpet the TC4 did not handle as well. Also the AE shocks are not as easy to build. The Hara shock are very nice. The Hpi makes it easier to get the motor in and out.
hi, my pro4 is running really well now on a tight carpet track in stock 27turn motors, but there is a funny grinding noise when im braking... any ideas?
it is only if im phisically pulling the brakes not just if im letting off the throttle... i dont really use the brake but its just a little concerning

Just your diff gear against the shaft gears are skipping- most likely in the front diff box. Shimm a little tighter. Also check to see, if you are running spool or oneway, that the little screws holding the gear on aren't coming loose.

or
Check your bevel gears and the three screws in your front one-way or spool, which ever you are using. They might have loosened too.
hi thanks for the help, im running a front ball differensial, so putting in more shims on the front should cure this then?
will this mean that my bevel gears will be ruined?
cheers
